This kit comes complete with a PDF copy of accomplished pattern designer Sara Gresbach's lacy cowl pattern, Paper Lanterns, as well as one skein of Orion yarn in your choice of colorway. This is an intermediate level pattern which includes both written and charted directions.
Paper Lanterns was inspired by the tradition of making a wish on a floating lantern and sending it downstream or off into the atmosphere. This stitch pattern resembles tiny, candle lit lanterns, carrying your wish off into the universe.
This lace cowl includes directions to knit pattern with almost any yarn weight with two sizes written for all weights (a short and long version). The short version measure approximately 24" around. The long version measures approximately 42-44" around. Additional notes for suggested adaptations to length also included.
US 6 (4 mm) straight or circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Sport/DK: 5 sts & 9 rows = 1” [2.5cm]. To save time and ensure proper measurements, please take time to check gauge.

If choosing a custom colorway, please choose Other from the pull-down color option menu and be sure to indicate your color choice in the Note to Luna Grey Fiber Arts box at checkout.
Yarn will be dyed to order. Please allow up to 10 business days for custom dyeing.
